Messe Frankfurt announces a partnership with Móbile Feiras e Eventos
According to the agreement, both companies will work together commercializing Fenavem 2007 and organizing ForMóbile 2008
Móbile Feiras e Eventos, company responsible for ForMóbile – International Supplier’s Fair for the Wood &. Furniture Industry, will work in partnership with Messe Frankfurt Fairs commercializing the 25th edition of Fenavem – International Trade Show for the Furniture Industry.
The agreement that allows the partnership was signed last January 8th by the president-director of Móbile Feiras e Eventos, Alexandre Barbosa, and by Fernando Gorbarán, president of Indexport Messe Frankfurt SA. According to the agreement, Móbile becomes a partner in the commercialization actions of Fenavem, also helping in a few of the event’s promotional actions in Brazil and abroad. “We will use all of our knowledge and penetration in the furniture sector to make Fenavem even stronger,” said Alexandre Barbosa after signing the agreement. “We are positive this alliance will streamline the benefits offered by Fenavem to exhibiting companies and visitors,” said Gorbarán.
Fenavem is the most important Latin American fair in the furniture sector, and also the most traditional one, being held for 30 years. Next edition, which will take place from August 6 to 10, 2007, at Anhembi in São Paulo, shall bring together 350 exhibitors and 40 thousand visitors.
One of Fenavem highlights is the variety of products on display, thanks to the participation of exhibitors from all regions in Brazil, since it is effectively a national event, with the presence and support of the most important Brazilian furniture centers, from well established to emerging ones. Also on that account, visitors can find, like in no other event of the sector, both popular furniture lines and medium and high-end product lines, in addition to interior design, a factor that broadens the visitors’ interest range.
Fenavem’s international character is another main highlight of the event. In a partnership between Fenavem, Abimóvel, and Apex-Brazil, the fair will rely on another edition of the Buyer Project, which brought together, on its last edition, approximately 35 companies from 14 different countries. The remarkable attendance of foreign visitors is also a result of Fenavem’s central location, since it is quick and easy to get to São Paulo from anywhere in the world. In addition, the intense international advertising work done by Messe Frankfurt , which relies on offices in over 150 different countries, added to the tradition of the event in the world’s calendar, make the fair’s next edition expect approximately 3 thousand international buyers.
